PDHPE
The PDHPE Faculty offers a diverse range of subjects that promote understanding of health, wellbeing, and movement through both theoretical and practical learning experiences.
In Stage 6, students can study Health and Movement Science (HMS) and Community and Family Studies (CAFS) — both Board Developed Courses that encourage critical thinking, research, and analytical skills as students explore factors influencing individual and community health, wellbeing, and performance.
Students also have the opportunity to engage in more hands-on learning through Exploring Early Childhood (EEC) and Sport, Lifestyle and Recreation (SLR). These courses provide practical experiences, including excursions, community involvement, and skill-based activities that support active learning and personal development.
Our specialised Rugby League program targets specific skill and development through regular training and involvement in Rugby League carnivals and competitions. Working with highly experienced coaches and partnerships with outside agencies provides future pathway opportunities for our program participants.
Together, our faculty programs inspire students to lead healthy, active lives while preparing them for further study and careers in health, education, sport, and human services.
