Our Faculties

English

Our school offers various Stage 6 English courses which develop students’ ability to explore complex and engaging texts from a range of contexts. Through analysing how language shapes meaning, students learn to think critically about ideas, values, and perspectives. They also create their own compositions, reflecting on their writing to refine their craft and express ideas with clarity and purpose. These experiences equip students with strong communication skills essential for their participation in the wider world.

Mathematics

Our school offers a range of Stage 6 Mathematics courses that build students’ skills in problem-solving, reasoning, and critical thinking. Through exploring patterns, relationships, and mathematical concepts, students learn to apply their understanding to real-world situations with confidence. These courses also provide strong foundations for future study and careers requiring analytical and quantitative skills.

Science

Our school offers a range of Stage 6 Science courses which develop students’ curiosity and understanding of both the natural and human-made worlds. These courses foster inquiry, experimentation, and critical thinking skills, enabling students to apply scientific knowledge and evidence-based reasoning to investigate living things, materials, technology, and human innovations. This prepares them to solve problems and make informed decisions in everyday life and future pathways.

TAS

Our school offers specialised, Stage 6 TAS courses which develop students’ practical skills and knowledge by engaging them in designing, creating, and evaluating real-world solutions, encouraging problem-solving, creativity, and the use of technology across various industries and contexts. It also fosters critical thinking, project management, and teamwork skills, preparing students for further education, training, and future careers in diverse technical and applied fields.

VET

Our school offers various Stage 6 VET courses which provide students with practical skills and industry knowledge through hands-on learning and workplace experience, preparing them for a wide range of career pathways. VET develops technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and employability skills, supporting smooth transitions from school to further education, training, or the workforce.

PDHPE

Our school offers various Stage 6 PDHPE courses which develop students’ understanding of health, wellbeing, and physical activity through specialised subjects like Health and Movement Science; Community and Family Studies; Sport, Lifestyle and Recreation; and Exploring Early Childhood. This curriculum enhances students’ knowledge of human development, relationships, healthy living, and physical fitness, while building skills in critical thinking, teamwork, and making informed, positive lifestyle choices.

CAPA

Our school offers specialised, Stage 6 CAPA courses which develop students’ skills and creativity through focused study in a variety of areas (Music, Visual Arts, Visual Design, Photography, Dance, Drama), encouraging them to express ideas, experiment with techniques, and critically reflect on their own and others’ work. This curriculum fosters artistic confidence, collaboration, and cultural understanding, preparing students for further education and active participation in the arts community.

HSIE

Our school offers various Stage 6 HSIE courses which develop students’ understanding of the complex relationships between people, societies, and their environments, fostering skills in critical thinking, research, and communication. It encourages students to explore social, cultural, economic, and environmental issues, preparing them to be informed, responsible, and engaged citizens.

Support Unit

Our school's Support Unit develops students’ independence, communication, and practical skills by delivering tailored learning programs based on Stage 6 Life Skills outcomes across a range of key learning areas. It supports each student’s individual growth, fostering confidence and essential capabilities for everyday life and community participation.
