About Senior Campus

Senior campus was originally sited on the grounds of Whalan High School. A new school was purpose built to suit the needs of Senior students and was fully operational in January 2003.

Every effort is made to maintain and improve the facilities available to our students and staff, allowing access to modern and up-to-date learning environments.

From Day 1 Year 11 to graduation, students are at Senior Campus for 7 terms. In that time – and indeed, prior to enrolment - every effort is made to build positive relationships between students/parents and staff.

Students are encouraged to accept responsibility for their own learning and behavior in an adult learning environment. Mutual respect is encouraged with students and staff addressing each other by given names. All members of the Senior Campus community are encouraged to strive for their best – every lesson, every day, every way.

Students are able to choose from a vast range of subjects in a pattern of study to suit their individual needs, e.g. ATAR, non-ATAR. Senior Campus has strong links with universities, TAFE and other community agencies. The staff are experienced HSC teachers and markers providing tutorial and mentoring programs to support all students.
