What will I be doing in this course?
In Year 11 this course consists of three modules, whereas in Year 12 it consists of four modules. This is what will be studied:
Year 11:
- Common Module - Reading to Write: Transition to Senior English
- Module A: Contemporary Possibilities
- Module B: Close Study of Literature
Year 12:
- Common Module -Texts and Human Experiences
- Module A: Language, Identity and Culture
- Module B: Close Study of Literature
- Module C: The Craft of Writing
How will this course help me in the future?
Student who choose this course will be eligible for an ATAR and can use the skills acquired within this course in their tertiary studies. This course will prepare students for tertiary studies, as well as for the workforce by providing them with literacy, reading, and writing skills.
