Visual Design Stage 6 is designed to enable students to gain increasing accomplishment and independence in their representation of ideas within the different fields of design; and, to understand and appreciate how graphic, wearable, product, and interior/exterior design invite different interpretations and explanations.
Visual Design will open the creative and critical mind of students who choose to study it. It will provide students with the foundation for design through the study of the elements and principles of design, and by the in depth study of graphic, wearable, product and interior/exterior design. Students are left with a broad range of skills and knowledge that is relevant to, and can be applied to, all areas across the scope of design.
